What’s in our kitchens?

coffee, kitchen, cozy, comfy cool design, pennant, lone ranger, lamps, plants,

At a great party, everyone ends up in the kitchen. And, well, Switchyards is no different. We love our kitchens, but what makes them good is that all of our members pass through and warm them up every single day.

As you’re getting settled into the club, we wanted to take a moment to call out a few details you can bank on in our Switchyards kitchen.

Nonstop coffee.
We partner with coffee roasters who take their coffee even more seriously than we do. There will always be a medium, dark, and decaf. Ground and brewed to order every time. Not only is it the freshest cup in the city, it’s also the free-est. That’s right, an endless river of hot coffee, on us. Drink up and buckle down!

A perfect cup of tea.
We offer Rishi teas. Black, green, herbal. They’ve been directly sourcing organic, premium teas ever since 2002. This is the gold standard—we love it.

Stroopwafels.
Shipped straight to us from the Netherlands. IYKYK. And if you eat more than one in a sitting, expect to be hyper-something. Try it. Under supervision.

In-club entertainment.
Look for the videos we make to pair with your coffee getting made. It’s 75 seconds of under-caffeinated anticipatory delight! We mix in some old flicks, some local color, and some things that just inspire us to get outta bed. Like the clip of Hank Aaron shattering Babe Ruth’s home run record in 1974. Our coffee is for winners.

Lucky shoes.
Hanging somewhere near the coffee is an oversized pair of sneakers (Stan Smiths and Top Tens are two of our all-time favorites). We string these up in the clubs for good luck. If Switchyards were a Camaro, these would be dangling from the rearview mirror.

Curios.
Our design team likes to place some of their favorite items and collections in the kitchen. It’s a tradition.

Local heroes.
Sprinkled in our collection of oddities, you’ll see ephemera from some of our favorite neighborhood spots. Be sure to venture out for lunch, dinner, drinks, books, and much more around the area. We are our neighborhoods.

See you in the kitchen.
