CABBAGETOWN
CABBAGETOWN
Housed in a former motorcycle garage just a stone’s throw from the Beltline and next door to the former City Used Appliance (RIP). If you blink you’ll miss it, a simple workhorse warehouse minding its own business on Memorial. Step inside to find a bustling cafe up front and a massive heads-down library in the back. This is your new home for focus and connection. It’s also the future of work.

We allow members to bring guests, and we treat them like members. However, if you plan on bringing the same guests on a regular basis (e.g. your business partner, spouse, etc), we ask they become a member.

Plenty o’ free parking at Cabbagetown:
Dedicated parking directly in front of building.
We have plenty of bike parking as well. We’re .5 miles away from the Beltline… a beautiful walk through the neighborhood.
We’re .8 miles from the King Marta station… a beautiful walk through Oakland Cemetery.
For overflow, there is street parking in the neighborhood behind the building. Map of parking here.

We don’t offer tours at any of our Switchyards locations.

Cabbagetown has 5 soundproof phone booths. All bookable at no extra cost to members.

All locations have phone booths and a meeting room. They must be reserved in order to be used. No drop-ins. You can book up to 4 hours each day for a meeting space (in 2 hour increments) and 2 hours for phone booths (up to 2 one hour slots in booths each day). Please don't overstay your booking, as another member will likely have it booked after you.

The space is open but divided into a few primary areas. We've been very thoughtful about sound and volume levels throughout the space. Sonically, we designed the space for three distinct use cases:
The front cafe area is meant to be vibey and buzzing! We want folks to be able to have in-person conversations without having to whisper. Small in-person meetings and chatting are totally fine.
Phone calls and zooms are meant to be taken in the soundproof phone booths in the library.
And then all sounds fade away as you enter the library, where it should be super quiet for deep focus. Please respect the quiet areas and do not take calls, meetings, zooms, etc. when working at the library tables or study carrels.
